Church Life

The reason for our life as a church is to love God, and to show God’s love to one another and to the world.
The hinges of our church life are worship and service.
Worship
- We come together for public worship each Sunday (services of Holy Communion), and on Wednesdays (Holy Communion).
- Communicant members of other Christian churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion at our churches.
- Worship allows us to live as God’s people in the world.
- We use forms of worship from A Prayer Book for Australia.
- On the first Sunday of each month, at 9.30am at St Paul’s in Korumburra, we have All Age Worship which is a more relaxed service with a special focus on children and young people.
Ministry to children and young people
- Children and young people are very welcome in our church.
- We have active ministries to children and young people. Contact the Rev’d Jenny Ramage for more information.
Ministry to the sick and elderly
- Jesus asks us to care especially for the vulnerable, including those who are sick and elderly.
- We visit those who are sick and elderly, providing company, comfort and, where appropriate, Holy Communion.
- We visit those in hospital, and in extended care (hostels and nursing homes), and hold services of Holy Communion each month at Carinya Lodge, Hillside Lodge, and Alchera House.
- We take seriously God’s promise of healing, and offer prayer and healing ministry to those who seek it.
- Contact the Rev’d Jenny Ramage for more information.
Ministry to those in need
- We participate in many ministries to those in need, including the Milpara Food Bank.
Ministry to women
- The Parish’s Anglican Women of Australia (AWA) groups are important places where women are ministered to and cared for.
- Our AWA groups gather together regularly for fun, fellowship, service and learning.
- For more information on AWA, contact Lyn – 03 5655 2600.
Ministry to men
- Our Men’s Group meets each month, on the last Tuesday at 7.30pm for fellowship and study. For more information contact Colin.
Bible Study
- The Parish has several opportunities for formal Bible Study – more details are available from Colin.
Prayer Chain
